What this example assumes
Three-bedroom occupied home with living areas, hallway and selected bedrooms being repainted. Existing acrylic coatings are generally sound, with normal dents, hairline cracking and isolated bare patches from previous repairs.
Why the quote is structured this way
The scope is written in the same order the painter would normally approach the job: protect, prepare, repair, prime where needed, coat the agreed surfaces, then clean down. That keeps expensive preparation from disappearing behind a vague “paint interior” line.

Fill minor dents, nail holes and hairline cracks
Complete normal minor filling included in the repaint allowance, then sand repaired areas smooth and dust down.
Spot-prime bare and repaired areas
Prime exposed substrate, filler and other localised areas where a sealing or adhesion coat is required before finish coats.
Apply two finish coats to agreed wall surfaces
Apply two full finish coats to nominated interior walls using the agreed sheen and colour schedule, including normal cut-in work.
Prepare and paint selected ceilings and trims
Coat only the ceilings, doors, frames, skirtings and architraves specifically included in the accepted quote.
Remove masking, tidy and remove trade waste
Remove normal protection materials and leave the work areas tidy on completion.

State what the price relies on
