01. What we collect
We collect information needed to provide Tradient, including account and business details, customer and contact information entered by a business user, quote content, uploaded files, consent records, support messages, and subscription or transaction references. We also collect limited technical and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
02. How we use it
We use personal information to authenticate users, provide quoting and website features, deliver notifications, administer subscriptions, prevent abuse, provide support, meet legal obligations, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information. We only collect and use information for lawful purposes connected with operating Tradient.
03. Business customer information
Tradient business users may enter information about their own customers. The business user must have authority to provide that information and must give any privacy notice required by the Privacy Act 2020, including the indirect-collection requirements that apply from 1 May 2026. Tradient processes that information to provide the requested quote and communication features.
04. Service providers and storage
We use specialist providers for hosting, authentication, database and file storage, subscription billing, transactional email, and security controls. These currently include Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, and Cloudflare. Information may be processed outside New Zealand where those services operate, subject to appropriate provider terms and safeguards.
05. Security, retention, and your rights
We use access controls, private storage, server-side validation, rate limiting, and monitoring appropriate to the service. Information is kept only as long as reasonably required for the service, legal obligations, security, or dispute handling. Under the Privacy Act 2020, you may ask to access or correct personal information Tradient holds about you. You may also request account deletion, subject to legal and operational retention requirements, by contacting info@tradient.co.nz.
